Overview of UUCB Organizational Structure

As part of UUCB's self-governing structure, members carry out the work of the church through various councils and committees. In 2009, these groups were organized under an Administrative Council and a Congregational Life Council.

The Administrative Council oversees such functions as Finance, Stewardship, Building & Gardens, Marketing & Communications, Personnel, and Administration. Administrative Council meetings are convened by the UUCB president.

The Congregational Life Council oversees such functions as Committee on Ministry, Worship Council, Lifespan Faith Development Council, Social Justice Council, Membership Council, Social Activities Council, and Denominational Affairs. Congregational Life Council meetings are convened by the UUCB president-elect.

Volunteers are always needed to keep these committees going. To join a committee or council, contact the responsible person, as listed in our newsletter.
