Get Involved

UUCB has several groups and activities responsible for church governance, as specified by our bylaws, that allow members to take a more active leadership role in the church.

UUCB also has many social justice, UU community outreach, and congregational enrichment groups and activities members can participate in.

Other ways to get more involved in UUCB are to participate in a Sunday service, assist with RE classes for youth, help out on a fundraiser, or join one of the program committees that help run church affairs.

To start a new, formally recognized group or activity (especially one that might require church funding), you need to present a proposal to the Board of Trustees stating the purpose of the group/activity and what it hopes to accomplish.
